summary tables with dissimilar dimensions return error

I run the following commands

bysort dis_lev: asdocx sum tot_extr_cost_est if mobility==1, replace stat(mean sd tstat N)
bysort dis_lev: asdocx sum tot_extr_cost_est if sensing==1, append stat(mean sd tstat N)

There are three categories of dis_lev variable.
However, observations for the sensing disability are only split among two categories of the dis_lev by variable.
So when I run the command stata returns a conformability error, despite the fact that tables one and two are not nested.

Any way around that?

It will help me in replicating the problem if you can share a sample of your data using the dataex program or eamil the data directly to me. To install dataex program

ssc install dataex

* Then create a sample
dataex
